About My Games
Been on RO for at least five years now, and still enjoy it! WoW's more recent for me. I was on a trial, and it was running fine for a week before my comp decided that it didn't like it anymore. Sucks to be me.
Online Hangouts

Here.
They're my main haunts, though I'm likely to show up in other places too.
Don't worry if you're late to reply. If you can't get online, you can't get online. I hardly reply straight away either. :p I tend to be out doing stuff, and recently I've been finding I don't feel like going onto the computer as much. I'm not playing RO as much right now, so that might be a part of it.
I remember when I was thinking about Code Geass at work. A lot of the time it'd be after a big cliff hanger while waiting for the next episode. I'd be making predictions about what'll happen next and stuff like that. Towards the end, I started trying to come up with theories on how it'd end. Even after it ended, there'd be times where I'd start thinking stuff like, where can it go from here!
Where do you work? Was it somewhere where they wouldn't like you making weird expressions while you work? XD
I remember there was some anime I was watching once (can't remember what it was now, but it'll probably come to me). It was one I was really getting into, but I really didn't want to see the end of it, cause once I did, that was it. And, I didn't want to be dissapointed by the end of it. I eventually did see the end though, and I wasn't dissapointed. But yea, I kinda understand where you're coming from.
When my friend and I cosplayed, we ordered our costumes. She normally makes her own though, but we kinda ran out of time this year. Next year, we're hoping to do Soul Eater costumes. I'm planning on trying to make one this year, and she is too. I'm going to do Death the Kid, cause he's awesome. Have you seen/read any Soul Eater?
Anyway, if you want to see some pics of me cosplaying, I've put some on my photobucket. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v382/Ryfry_coolguy/Cosplaying/
Vampire Diaries... the name sounds kinda familiar, but that's about it. I haven't read them. I'd remember them if I had. I've never read anything that's made me cry. I've read a few books which were pretty emotional at times. Name of the Wind stands out as one. I don't normally cry during things though. The end of Wolf's Rain is the only exception to that. It was sad.
And yes! The cruise was heaps of fun. You should do one. It was a very unique travel experience, and I'd do one again!
True, sometimes you just have alot to do. XD
Yeah, it's often like that, when you end up with a cliffhanger and need to wait for the next episode it's hard to drop it. Both with manga and anime (and other regular books too for that matter XD). Usually I just check how many episodes are left and try to stop at the closest "breather" before it. Rather wait with some eps extra than end up in a cliffhanger XD.
I work in a hospital laboratory. So it's not that bad if I make wierd faces really, we don't get many patients, just samples from them. Just that my collueges will start wondering what I'm doing if I go around making them. And I better not go smiling crazily if they talk about something sad when I'm within range, lol...
Hehe, yeah, I got quite a few of that kind of anime, really should go finish them, but... Oh well, sooner or later I'm gonna be up for it and do it. XD I've seen one episode of soul eater, it didn't "stick" that much though and I had Code geass to work on (Soul eater was more as a break) so haven't continued it. Maybe I should?
Nice! Those are cool pics. Seams like you're having fun! You even ended up with two CCs there for a bit. =P Do you always go up on a stage too? What do you do there, posing? Almost looked like CC was singing/talking or something in one pic.
I'm thinking of buying those Vampire Diaries. Even though they're old, seams they're gonna be released anew in some collective way. I don't really cry that much either, atleast not when it's all fictional, might get a bit watery when something very sad/happy happens in reality shows (remembers this extreme housemakeover with a girl who'd been sick all her life and they got a great house and everyone was so happy...ok maybe I am a little bit of a crybaby >.o). Anyway, the only books that made me cry was Vampire diaries and another whose name I've forgotten. I didn't cry when I saw Wolf's Rain, but I agree, that was really sad. Took a while to take that one in as well. The Manga ended better if you ask me, though it was shorter XD.
Haha, sorry for the late reply... but better late than never right? XD
Yeah, .< Unless you count hours of playing games, oh, and a certain amount of hanging out with rl-ppl... XD>
Yeah, I loved it. Well, I had to work too, was the same for me that all my spare time went to watching Geass, cause I was so into it though, during work hours I kept walking around fantasising (is that the word? .o) about it, how it would continue, what would happen if that and that happened and if THAT hadn't happened... So it didn't really feel like I had a break, bet I made all sorts of wierd faces at work though. XD Yeah, I do get into it alot, it's really bothersome, it's not just Code Geass (although Geass was an extreme case), I take breaks from time to time during other animes too, though I usually try to do so when the anime takes a break too, like after something very exciting. And it's hard to finish any anime, cause I get so tense about how the ending might be, I'm scared to watch it... XD
Ooh, you did, that's cool, I'd like to see that! I want to cosplay as C.C. too, but I'm too lazy to bother making a costume...
I liked Twilight, I haven't read the book though. So I had nothing to be disappointed about, it wasn't an "OMG, never seen better" kind of movie, but I think it was worth it. I've read a similar book, (heard of the "Vampire Diaries") they're old by now, very good though, and sad, I remember it was the first book I ever read that made me shead tears. Anyway, the story in them is quite similar to the Twilight story if you ask me(though not all the same, there are some major differences >.>).
Ooh, maybe I should check it out. Bet it was lots of fun, going on a cruise. I want to do that too! =D
Hehe, no wonder I was confused. You were too. Guess something went really wrong. XD
Thought I recognized it. I'm watching Code Geass right now. I <3 it! It's really exciting. Think I'm addicted... Actually had to take a break from comp cause I sat too much and ended up with a pain in my back and side. o_o (atleast I think that's the reason...)
Ooh, Lunatica is really good, glad you like it. ^^ Have you heard of Nemesea btw, they're a good band too. Keep trying! =3 I don't know really where to find Krypteria etc but I can always ask my brother when I talk to him. =)
Yea... no idea what happened. Something went blargh with the quotes or something. *shrugs*
And yes! Code Geass is awesome! :D Where abouts are you up to? I was definitely addicted. I started watching when they were about four episodes into season 2. So, I had all of season 1 to watch. When I wasn't working, I was watching Geass. I was sad when I caught up though. Waiting a week between episodes was painful. XD Though, every monday when I got home from work, I'd rush to jump on the computer for my Geass fix.
And yea, I'll keep trying for those other bands. I'll get some eventually, I'm sure. I don't have much time right now though, but maybe in the next few days.
Haha, sorry for the late reply... but better late than never right? XD
Yeah, <3 Code Geass. I actually finished watching it. It was all finish when I started watching it, so I could go on watching non stop untill the end (although I had to make breaks for pain in the *** work/sleep and food), ppl on sro started wondering where I was too... o.o Oh yeah, I had to make breaks in between too since I sat too much at comp and my body started complaining, also I ended up really nervous during some eps and had to take a break to calm down (I sure knows how to get into a story see? It's kind of bad in some ways o.o). Waiting a week for the next episode sounds tough, I'm glad I didn't need to do that. It's really an addictive (right word? O.o) anime...
Ohh, got me thinking of a song I listened to while going to the movies (we went to see "Twilight" btw). Anyway they play film music before they start, and they were playing "Ghostbusters", kind of funny how alot of ppl started half dancing in their seats when it started (me included).
Hello there! Seems someone's a fan of Twilight. Some cool animes you've listed on here as well. Spread that Code Geass love!
You bet! I just finished the Twilight saga a week ago and it's cool... not well written like the potter series but enough for you to fancy becoming a vampire ~chuckles~ CODE GEASS AWESOME!
Potter vs. Twilight huh... I have a rant about Harry Potter that I wrote here. If you want my opinions on Potter, read that. But yea, I enjoyed Twilight, but I think there's plenty better out there.
I want them to make more Geass as well. There's still a lot they left open.
Nah... not really potter vs. twilight... they're both fiction but they cannot be compared totally because their stories are really different... If there's a cool book that you know, I hope you wouldn't mind telling me... OH really? Code geass? Well I've read the summary of each episodes and it seems there are still things that lack and I only have watched 3 episodes of geass so far.
There's a list of my favourite books on my profile page. I'd recommend reading any of them. One series I haven't put on there though is Garth Nix's Old Kingdom trilogy. Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen are the three books in that. They're a good read. Trudi Canavan's books are good too. They're both Australian authors, but I'm pretty sure their books are available overseas.
Thanx a lot! Garth Nix's Old Kingdom sounds cool... so as the others.... I'll look for it as soon as I can.
Was kind of confusing, your last two comments were so alike it took a while for me to understand they weren't the same. XD
BTW, is that Code geass you're using for your theme/avatar?
Actually... I think something went wrong with my last reply... cause what I can see on your page is not what I remember typing. I can't remember what I typed now, but I know it definitely wasn't that. *confused*
And yes! It is Code Geass! Have you seen it? It's good.
I listened to more Lunatica. I like them. I'm having trouble finding Masterplan, Krypteria and Angra though. I've been trying to download a few songs from Limewire, but I'm struggling. I'll keep trying though!
